Soft wash render and dash wall cleaning

A dashed wall cannot be pressure washed. A high-pressure lance removes the chipping along with the dirt. We softwash dash and render instead, using specialist detergents that lift the fungus and red algae and leave the chipping in place.

Assessment

James identifies the type of dash or render, assesses how far the algae has spread and gives you a price.

Detergent Applied

The specialist detergent is applied at low pressure and left to work into the growth.

Rinse

The wall is rinsed gently. The fungus and red algae come away and the chipping stays in place.

Will chipping be lost from the dash?

No. That is the reason we softwash rather than pressure wash. The detergent does the work, not the pressure.

What is the red staining on my wall?

Red algae. It grows on the damp side of the house and does not wash off with water alone. It requires the correct detergent to kill it.

Do you clean smooth render as well as dash?

Yes. Smooth, textured, painted or bare, the softwash is suitable for all of them.
